Symphony of the Seas Drink Package: Is It Worth It?
The Deluxe package was never cheap on Symphony, but its cheapest price has stepped up three times this year and has not once come back down.

We have checked the price of Symphony of the Seas drink packages every day since February. In that time the typical price has gone nowhere in particular. The cheapest price has gone up three times.
In the spring, a lucky Symphony sailing could show the Deluxe Beverage Package at $62.99 per person, per night. Today the cheapest number anywhere on the ship is $73.99.
That is $11 a night off the best case, or about $77 per person over a week, for a package that looks identical in the Cruise Planner.
Quick Answer: What Symphony of the Seas Packages Cost
TL;DR| Package (per person, per night) | Tracked low | Typical now | Current list price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deluxe Beverage | $62.99 | $79.99 | $115.00 |
| Refreshment (non-alcoholic) | $26.99 | $29.99 | $42.00 |
| Classic Soda | $10.99 | $11.99 | $18.00 |
| VOOM Surf + Stream WiFi | $19.99 | $22.99 | $30.99 |
- The floor keeps rising: the cheapest Deluxe price we have recorded went from $62.99 in the spring to $73.99 today.
- It has never reversed: nothing under the current floor has appeared since August 24.
- Seven prices at once: on October 13 the Deluxe package was live at seven different prices across Symphony's future sailings.
- The soft drinks held: both non-alcoholic packages are still selling at their all-time tracked lows.
What the Deluxe Beverage Package Costs Right Now
Budget around $80 a night. Treat anything at $73.99 as the realistic best case, not a fluke.
The Deluxe Beverage Package is the all-inclusive tier: beer, wine, cocktails and spirits, plus specialty coffee, soda and bottled water. It is the pre-buy most people lose an evening to.
| Deluxe Beverage Package | Per person, per night |
|---|---|
| Tracked low (February to May) | $62.99 |
| Current floor (since August 24) | $73.99 |
| Typical price, last 30 days | $79.99 |
| Current list price | $115.00 |
The list price is close to decorative. Of 9,281 checks on this ship, 99.3% came in under it. The discount is the baseline, not an event.
Symphony also carries two different list prices right now, with most future sailings showing $115.00 and the rest $120.00. Even the thing the discount is measured against is not a single number.
The Floor Has Only Ever Moved One Way
The story on Symphony is not the average price. It is the quiet disappearance of the cheap prices.
Each of the four lowest prices we have ever recorded on this ship has stopped appearing, one after another, and none has returned.
| Lowest Deluxe prices | Times recorded | Last seen |
|---|---|---|
| $62.99 | 38 | May 12 |
| $65.99 | 85 | May 19 |
| $68.99 | 320 | August 24 |
| $71.99 | 891 | August 24 |
| $73.99 | Current floor | Still live |
The middle of the board, meanwhile, did nothing interesting. Month by month the typical price wandered between the mid $70s and about $90 with no direction to it, which is why "wait and it will come down" is not advice this ship's data supports.
The typical price went nowhere. The bargains quietly stopped showing up.
A $62.99 night was always rare. Since late August it has not been available at all, and the best realistic outcome on Symphony is now about 17% more expensive than it was in May. The same ratchet is visible across the fleet in our Royal Caribbean Deluxe Beverage Package guide.
Seven Prices, One Ship, One Morning
There is no Symphony drink package price. There is only the price on your sailing, today.
This is the complete board from October 13, the last full tracking run before this post went up.
| Price per night | Sailings | Share of the board |
|---|---|---|
| $73.99 | 21 | 40.4% |
| $77.99 | 18 | 34.6% |
| $79.99 | 5 | 9.6% |
| $83.99 | 1 | 1.9% |
| $85.99 | 1 | 1.9% |
| $89.99 | 1 | 1.9% |
| $91.99 | 5 | 9.6% |
Three quarters of the ship sits on the two cheapest rows, which is unusually kind by Symphony's standards. The handful of sailings up at $91.99 are paying a quarter more for the same wristband.
Nor is that spread a one-day artifact. Across its tracked life, a typical Symphony sailing has swung $18 a night between its own high and its own low.

This Week the Board Drifted Down
Cuts outnumbered hikes four to one over the past week, and the biggest cut was the size of a whole lifetime swing.
Comparing every sailing we priced on both October 6 and October 13, two in five changed.
| October 6 | October 13 | Sailings |
|---|---|---|
| $83.99 | $77.99 | 9 |
| $91.99 | $73.99 | 4 |
| $79.99 | $73.99 | 3 |
| $79.99 | $91.99 | 2 |
| $85.99 | $91.99 | 1 |
| $77.99 | $89.99 | 1 |
| $91.99 | $85.99 | 1 |
Thirty of the sailings did not move at all. Of the ones that did, seventeen came down and four went up.
The second row is the one to look at. Four sailings dropped $18 a night in a single week, which on a 7-night cruise is $126 per person saved by doing nothing except checking again.
And then it stops. Between October 12 and October 13 not one Symphony sailing changed price. These are not gradual drifts, they are repricings that land on dozens of sailings at once and then sit still for days.
What Does Not Explain Your Price
Two of the three things people assume drive package pricing do not show up in Symphony's numbers at all.
The obvious theory is that packages get cheaper as a sailing fills up and the date approaches. On the current board the opposite is true, and over a longer window the relationship flips again.
| Typical Deluxe price | Current board | Last 30 days |
|---|---|---|
| Under 2 months out | $82.99 | $79.99 |
| Two to five months out | $73.99 | $79.99 |
| More than 5 months out | $77.99 | $83.99 |
A pattern that reverses when you change the window is not a pattern. There is no booking-window rule to play here, which is the opposite of how the cabin fare behaves on this ship.
Homeport does not explain it either. Symphony's Galveston and Fort Lauderdale departures showed an identical typical price and an identical range on the same morning, so a Texas sailing and a Florida sailing are drawing from the same deck of prices.
What is left is the sailing itself. Your departure date got assigned a number, and that number moves when Royal Caribbean decides to move it.
The Non-Alcoholic Packages Never Got the Memo
While the Deluxe floor climbed all year, both soft-drink packages are still selling at their all-time lows.
This is the cleanest contrast in Symphony's data. The alcohol package got more expensive at the bottom end; the packages without alcohol did not.
| Package | Tracked low | Typical now | Current list price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Refreshment (per night) | $26.99 | $29.99 | $42.00 |
| Classic Soda (per night) | $10.99 | $11.99 | $18.00 |
| Specialty Coffee Card (whole cruise) | $30.99 | $33.99 | $40.00 |
Both of those tracked lows were live on the current board, not historical trivia. If anything the non-alcoholic side has softened slightly over the last month.
The Refreshment Package is the one worth a second look, because it covers the specialty coffees, mocktails and bottled water that quietly do most of the work in a Deluxe break-even calculation. We put the two head to head in our Refreshment versus Deluxe breakdown.
The Specialty Coffee Card is the quiet value play. It is priced per cruise rather than per night, so the whole card costs less than half of one night on the Deluxe.
Symphony also sells a Deluxe bundle that adds a Royal Beach Club open bar day pass. Across 1,662 same-day comparisons it was almost never the cheaper option, and it typically ran $10 a night above the plain package. You are buying the beach day, not a better drinks deal.
What WiFi Costs on Symphony
VOOM Surf + Stream is the one price on this ship you can put in a budget months out and expect to be right.
Surf + Stream is the full-speed tier, enough for video calls and streaming.
| VOOM Surf + Stream | Per person, per night |
|---|---|
| Tracked low | $19.99 |
| Typical price | $22.99 |
| Current list price | $30.99 |
The last 30 days look the same as the full tracked year. The entire current board sits on just two numbers, with most sailings at $22.99 and the remainder a dollar above.
The catch is that VOOM is sold per device, per guest, so two people who both want to stream are buying two packages. Our Royal Caribbean WiFi package prices guide covers how that scales across the fleet.
Is It Worth It on a 7-Night Sailing
At the typical price you need about six drinks a day. At the top of the board, seven.
Royal Caribbean caps covered drinks at $14 each, so the break-even point is simply the nightly price divided by that cap.
| If you pay | Drinks per day to break even | 7-night total per person |
|---|---|---|
| $73.99 (today's floor, 40% of the board) | About 5 | About $518 |
| $77.99 (the second-biggest row) | About 6 | About $546 |
| $79.99 (typical, last 30 days) | About 6 | About $560 |
| $91.99 (the top of the board) | About 7 | About $644 |
Those drinks include the latte at breakfast, the bottled water by the pool and the mocktail before dinner, not just cocktails. Counted honestly, most people who drink at all clear six a day on a week-long sailing without trying.
Our drink package calculator pulls the live price for your sailing and runs that arithmetic against what you actually order.
Dining is the other significant pre-buy on an Oasis-class ship, and it behaves differently from drinks, which we cover in Royal Caribbean dining package prices.
The honest read. At $73.99 the Deluxe package is a straightforward buy for anyone who drinks more than a glass of wine with dinner. At $91.99 it is a stretch and paying per drink probably wins. The difference is not your loyalty tier, your booking window or your homeport. It is which row of the board your sailing landed on the morning you looked.
How We Track This Data
Every number here comes from All Aboard Deals' own Cruise Planner tracking. We have checked Symphony of the Seas package prices daily since February 13, 2026, across 83 sailings.
That adds up to 92,305 beverage price records for this one ship. All prices are per person, per night in US dollars unless noted, and reflect the lowest adult price recorded at each check. The October 13 board is the last complete tracking run before publication.
This is roughly eight months of daily package history, which is long enough to see a floor move but not long enough to call it a seasonal cycle. As the tracking window grows we will update this guide. For what the cabin itself costs on Symphony against its closest fleetmate, see our Harmony versus Symphony price comparison.
Our Royal Caribbean price tracker scores every Symphony of the Seas fare 0-100 against 125,477 tracked price snapshots for this ship, so you know whether the cabin price is fair before you start adding packages.
