We have logged 146,999 beverage prices on Utopia of the Seas since February 2026. Across 14,238 of them for the Deluxe Beverage Package, Royal Caribbean has used exactly seven different prices.
That is the part nobody tells you. This is not a sliding market rate that drifts a dollar at a time. It is a short list of fixed numbers, and the Cruise Planner shows you one of them depending on the day you look.
Which one you get matters. The gap between the cheapest and the most common price on Utopia is $30 a night per person, for the same package on the same sailing.

What the Deluxe Beverage Package Has Actually Cost
The typical price is $83.99 a night across seven months of tracking. Today the median future sailing is showing $95.99.
The Deluxe Beverage Package is the all-inclusive option, covering beer, wine, cocktails and spirits up to $14 a drink, plus specialty coffee, soda and bottled water. It is the pre-buy most people actually agonize over.

The $120 sticker is close to fiction. It appeared in 0.2% of our checks. Every other time, the package was discounted, which means the discount is the normal state rather than an event.
Utopia sails 3- and 4-night itineraries from Port Canaveral, so the per-night number translates quickly. At today's $95.99, a 4-night sailing is about $384 per person. At the $65.99 floor it is about $264.
The gap between those two numbers, $120 a head, is not a reward for booking early. It is a reward for happening to look on the right day.
Seven Prices, and the Cheapest Shows Up 2% of the Time
Royal Caribbean cycles Utopia's Deluxe package through a fixed ladder of prices, and the bottom rung is genuinely rare.

The shape of that list is the whole story. Half the time you are being shown $89.99 or $95.99, near the top of the ladder. The floor is a one-in-fifty event.
This also explains why the same sailing quotes different people different numbers. Across the 142 Utopia sailings we have tracked closely, the Deluxe price swung a median of $24 a night between its own high and low. On 77 of those sailings the swing was $20 a night or more, and the widest was $54.

The Typical Price Rose 15%. The Floor Never Moved.
Since February, Royal Caribbean has spent less time on the cheap rungs of the ladder and more on the expensive ones.
The monthly medians show it clearly. The package did not get repriced. It just started landing higher up the same list.

That is a 15% rise in the typical price from February to September. Over the same seven months, the lowest price we ever recorded stayed exactly $65.99, in every single month.
The floor held. The odds of hitting it got worse.
If your instinct was that package prices soften as a ship settles into service, Utopia says otherwise. The Refreshment Package moved the same way, from a $26.99 typical in February to $30.99 now. The Cheaper Drink Options
If you skip alcohol, the Refreshment Package costs about a third of the Deluxe, and the soda package about a seventh.
Both non-alcoholic packages cover the fountain drinks, specialty coffees and bottled water that quietly do most of the work in a Deluxe break-even calculation.

The Refreshment Package is the one worth a second look. At around $31 a night it sits well under the Deluxe, and for a coffee-and-mocktail drinker it covers most of what they would actually order. We compare the two directly in our Refreshment versus Deluxe breakdown.
Classic Soda at about $13 a night only pays off at roughly four fountain sodas a day. For most people, paying per drink is cheaper.
One Utopia-specific option to be aware of: the Deluxe package bundled with a Royal Beach Club open bar day pass has tracked at a typical $101.99 a night, about $18 more than the standalone package. That premium buys the beach club day, not better drinks onboard.
What WiFi Costs on Utopia
VOOM Surf + Stream has held between $19.99 and $31.99 all year, with no trend in either direction.
VOOM Surf + Stream is the full-speed tier, enough for video calls and streaming. Across 14,241 checks on Utopia it has been the steadiest thing we track on this ship.

The monthly medians have bounced between $19.99 and $23.99 since February with no direction to them. That makes WiFi the one add-on on this ship you can budget for confidently.

Is It Worth It on a 3 or 4-Night Sailing
At today's $95.99 a night you need about 7 drinks a day to break even. At $65.99 you need about 5.
Royal Caribbean caps the Deluxe package at $14 per drink, so the break-even point is just the package price divided by that ceiling.

Those drinks include the $7 latte at breakfast, the bottled water by the pool and the mocktail at dinner, not just cocktails. Counted honestly, most steady drinkers clear six a day without trying.

The honest read. At $65.99 or $71.99 the package is a good buy for anyone who drinks at all. At $95.99 on a 3-night sailing it is a stretch, and per-drink almost certainly wins. The difference between those two outcomes is not your booking window. It is which day you happened to open the Cruise Planner.
