Celebrity Cruises WiFi Packages — Prices, Plans, and What You Actually Get

We track Celebrity Cruises WiFi prices daily across 14 ships. The single most useful thing we can tell you: your ship determines your price, and the "sale" you see is almost certainly the regular price.

98.7% of Basic Wi-Fi prices in our data show a "10% PRE-CRUISE SAVINGS" discount. That is not a sale. That is the price.

Quick Answer — Celebrity WiFi Package Prices

PackagePrice RangeIncludes Streaming
Basic Wi-Fi$18–$22/nightNo
Premium Wi-Fi$21–$29/nightYes
Premium Wi-Fi 2 Devices$39–$53/nightYes (2 devices)
Ships tracked14 ships, 6,784 internet price records
  • Always Included fares bundle Basic Wi-Fi. You only pay extra if you want Premium.
  • The "10% PRE-CRUISE SAVINGS" is not a real discount. It appears on 98.7% of Basic Wi-Fi listings we track.

What Each WiFi Plan Includes

Basic is for browsing. Premium is for streaming. That is the entire decision.

Basic covers email, social media, web browsing, and messaging apps. It does not support video calls, streaming services, or large downloads.

Premium unlocks streaming (Netflix, YouTube, etc.), video calls, and faster speeds. If you need to work remotely or watch anything beyond a text-based website, Premium is the tier you want.

The 2-Device Premium plan is identical to single-device Premium but covers two devices under one purchase. For couples sharing a cabin, this is cheaper than buying two individual Premium plans.

WiFi Prices by Ship

Your ship class determines your WiFi price. Older ships run cheaper, but the variation is tighter than what you see with Celebrity drink packages.

Ship GroupBasic Wi-FiPremium Wi-FiPremium 2 Devices
Millennium, Eclipse, Solstice, Silhouette$18/night$21–$25/night$39–$46/night
Xcel, Ascent, Beyond$20/night$23–$27/night$42–$49/night
Apex, Edge$21–$22/night$25–$29/night$45–$53/night

WiFi pricing varies less across ships than drink packages. The gap between cheapest and most expensive is about $4/night for Basic. On a 7-night cruise, that is $28 per person — not the $161 swing you see with Classic drink packages.

WiFi Bundles Worth Knowing About

Celebrity sells WiFi as standalone or bundled with other packages. The bundles can shift the math on what you are actually paying for internet.

BundlePrice RangeWhat's Included
Non-Alc Drinks + Premium WiFi$49/dayNon-alcoholic beverages + Premium Wi-Fi
Premium Access WiFi & More Perks$22–$41/dayPremium Wi-Fi + additional ship perks
Ultimate Bundle$85–$112/dayPremium drinks + Premium Wi-Fi + more

The Ultimate Bundle pairs Premium Wi-Fi with the Premium Drinks Package. If you were planning to buy both separately, check whether the bundle saves money on your specific ship and sailing. The savings vary.

The Premium Access bundle is worth a closer look if you want WiFi and a few extras without committing to a full beverage package. At the low end ($22/day), it can cost less than standalone Premium Wi-Fi on some ships. If you are also considering specialty dining, our Celebrity dining package pricing guide breaks down what those add-ons cost by ship.

The "Always Included" Question

If you book a Celebrity Always Included fare, Basic Wi-Fi is already bundled in. You are not paying for it separately — it is folded into your cabin price alongside the Classic Drinks Package and gratuities.

The question then becomes whether to upgrade from Basic to Premium. Based on our tracking, the upgrade runs roughly $10/day extra depending on your ship. For a 7-night cruise, that is about $70 per person for streaming capability.

If you rarely stream video and mainly need email and social media, the included Basic plan is probably enough. If you work remotely, travel with kids who want YouTube, or cannot survive without Netflix, the $70 upgrade is straightforward to justify.

How Celebrity WiFi Compares to Royal Caribbean

We track WiFi prices daily for both Celebrity and Royal Caribbean — same parent company, different pricing approaches. Here is how they stack up based on our Royal Caribbean WiFi data.

MetricCelebrity BasicRC VOOM Surf+Stream
Price Range$18–$22/night$19–$29/day
Fleet Average~$20/night$22/day
Streaming IncludedNoYes
Ships Tracked1430

Celebrity's Basic is cheaper, but it does not include streaming. RC's VOOM Surf+Stream includes streaming by default — there is no "Basic browsing only" tier.

If you compare Celebrity Premium Wi-Fi ($21–$29/night) to RC VOOM Surf+Stream ($19–$29/day), the pricing is nearly identical for comparable functionality. The lines price WiFi similarly once you are comparing streaming-capable plans.

The Fake Sale Pattern

What "10% PRE-CRUISE SAVINGS" Actually Means

  • 98.7% of Basic Wi-Fi prices in our tracking data show this "discount." It is the standard price, not a promotion.
  • Premium Wi-Fi occasionally shows deeper flash sales (15–30% off), but these are less frequent than beverage package sales.
  • If you see "10% PRE-CRUISE SAVINGS" on WiFi, you are seeing the normal price. Do not feel pressure to buy immediately — this discount is effectively permanent.

This mirrors the pattern we found with Celebrity Classic beverage packages, where 98% of prices carry a similar perpetual "sale" label. All Aboard Deals Pro tracks WiFi and beverage package prices daily and alerts you when genuine drops hit your sailing.

How We Track This Data

We monitor Celebrity Cruise Planner prices daily across all 14 Celebrity ships. Our WiFi dataset includes 6,784 internet price records covering Basic, Premium, and 2-Device plans plus bundle pricing.

This guide reflects roughly 35 days of daily tracking history. As our tracking window grows, we will update this guide with longer-term trend data and seasonal patterns.

WiFi packages do not appear to carry the 20% gratuity that beverage packages do. The prices shown are what you pay.
